But our antique stores will have one booth that has $20 - $30 for each Pyrex piece and another booth will be in the $8 - 10 range. So I'm still getting a few pieces. But I did pick up a 401 Town and County at a yard sale in mint condition. Guess what. It was in a box marked "Everything .10 cents in this box. Woo and a big Hoo! You ha...When I was a kid we had the range-top perc. You have to be really careful and watch it so it doesn't boil over. I remember more than one mess my mom or Grandma had to clean up!

Also, I have a booth in an antique mall in SE Wisconsin. I haven't priced any Pyrex over $10 myself yet, other than a complete set of pink fridgies I sold this summer. Mostly I try to stay in the $4-$8 range. But I've noticed the thrift stores are really going too high on it lately, often for pieces in really poor shape. I should walk around my mall and see how other dealers are pricing it. They're probably buying it from me and marking it up. :(

Helene (Helene'sBooth42 on Facebook)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9113652773725333226.post-19293028322391314432013-09-30T16:40:05.823-07:002013-09-30T16:40:05.823-07:00I have all but given up on finding any fairly pric...I have all but given up on finding any fairly priced Pyrex in the antique stores in my area. The thrifts aren't too bad price wise but it's getting harder and harder to find any pieces at all. I swear the dealers camp out in the parking lot and rush the doors when they open. My best luck lately has been at estate sales and believe it or not, antique shows. You can barter at the shows so that helps out too.

I am so happy that you brought that pink bowl home. She is a beauty!

~EricaThrifterSistershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07534524822325441476noreply@blogger.com
